This is my sixth course in the Master of Education in E-Education degree program. Joshua Fischer, Ph.D. candidate,
is our instructor. He lives in the Dallas area (I can tell from his phone number) and he has revealed that he is a stay-at-home
dad with two young children. Apparently, he and his wife are both "consultants", as many of UoPhx instructors seem to
be.
We start off doing a literature review for a research topic of our choice. I have three topics I'm interested in
-- time, computer literacy, and self-direction -- in online education for graduate studies. Today I downloaded 13 peer-reviewed
articles from the UoPhx Online Library.
We've chosen teams also, but have not received detailed instructions regarding our team projects.

Josh posted more detailed team assignments and assigned Team names. I'm on Team A with Velveeta Knox and Sandra
Angel. Sandra and I are native Texans. Velveeta is a native Indianan? (from Indiana). I also received corrected
problem statements from Josh this morning.

Finished the literature review and research proposal for "Computer Literacy in Online Learning" about 11:30pm last
night. I didn't have the *.pdf files and was unable to download some of them. The internet was very slow and I
kept losing my connection to the local ISP. This has also been happening at work this week. Because of the T1
dropping in and out, some of my posts from yesterday morning were not sent until this morning. What a pain! There
really isn't an "alternative plan" for the internet going away ...
