I stayed home from work today and finished the Ethics paper. I found many more websites, which I added to the Ethics
References document. I could have written a great deal more, but I decided to keep it fairly short and to focus on the
ethics of ordinary life, the ethics of work, and the ethics of teaching (mentoring). I was able to use some quotes and
concepts from ETHICS FOR A NEW MILLENIUM, by His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

There was only the individual assignment due this week (Week 5) in addition to discussion questions and weekly summary.
Next week (Week 6 and the last week of this course) there are two team assignments and one individual assignment, along with
the discussion questions and weekly summary.

I decided today (Thurs, July 25, 2002) to create another Tripod site for all of my PowerPoint presentations. I
would like to get rid of Grandmother's Books OR copy all of that to the new website. However, I have not found the way to do that yet.
I took a 60-day leave of absence between EDTC 526 and QNT 540. It was a really well-needed break. I feel
like I might cope pretty well through this course. Mary and I will be traveling one weekend during this course.
I intend to use the public library in Lawrence, KS to participate in class.
