Friday and Saturday nights were a scramble to get the Penny Activity and Descriptive Statistics worksheets completed
correctly. We did not have enough information in the lecture or textbook to successfully complete the Penny Activity.
The assignment used terms which we had not been taught.
Velveeta found a link for a website which defined "class mark" and demonstrated how to determine the size of a class.
This was not described or discuss in our lecture or in our textbook.
The descriptive statistics worksheet just took longer than I thought it would. I ended up creating data in order
to draw the representative curves in question 3. This took about 3 times longer than I had expected.
We are planning our Practical Application Paper. I am gathering climate data to analyze and present. I suggested
this to Velveeta and she is willing to consider this approach, even though she is not an ecologist.
